A few instructions to use the Samsung screen in room 305. NB: there are two remote controls, the bigger one for the screen, the smaller for the Apple TV.
Mac laptops & iPhone
- Select Apple TV (HDMI 1) as the source on the TV
- Select System Preferences > Displays on your laptop
- Turn on Airplay by choosing “Guest Room” (see figure below). You will be asked to enter the numbers appearing on the Samsung screen. Your device will then be paired to the Apple TV and you will not have to pair it again next time: it will be sufficient to turn on Airplay. To unpair, select on Apple TV Settings > General
Windows 8.1 & 10
- Press the Home button on the TV remote then select Source > Connection Guide > PC > Screen Sharing (Wireless) and follow the instructions
Smartphones & tablets
- Press the Home button on the TV remote then select Source > Connection Guide > Smartphone > Screen Sharing (Smart View) and follow the instructions. It requires a Smart View app
