Observing, Simulating, and Modelling the Intracluster medium using the Sunyaev-Zeldovich Effect and X-ray observations

This program is intended to perform a comprehensive exploration of the possibilities offered by the joint modelling of X-ray and Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) observations of galaxy clusters. The project will be based on a synergistic contributions from experts in variate fields — SZ and X-ray observations, imaging techniques and statistical inference, and hydrodynamical simulations — with the aim of setting the ground for the development of novel techniques and analysis methods in view of current and future cluster studies and forthcoming observational facilities.
